Under the cut for length (Previous post here)
The Viera standing tall as the morning light torched her back through the stained glass. A gentle breeze sweeps through the elongated halls from the arching wooden doors. Bringing with it a chill down the Viera’s back as the cool air soothes her blushing cheeks. Neck tilting ever so slightly as her eyes traced the movements of the Miqo’te fingers. Embarrassment replacing the blush. Had she forgotten so soon, the Lieutenant was deaf? Forethoughts fill her mind; “I can speak 3 languages, comprehend a handful of others, yet the one that intrigues me the most? Sign language. Maybe it’s the vibrant face standing in front me that has me intrigued the most.”
Devoting her full attention to the woman’s violet eyes as the mask upon her face lowered. Her own nerves calmed as the woman trusted her enough to let her witness her full features one more time. Filling the echoing halls with a soft chuckle as she speaks, slowing her words just enough and allowing her lips to be fully read.
“I’m on travel to the Hinterlands but you may have convinced me to hang around longer.” pausing as she widened her emeralds with a wink to one lid. Meanwhile extending the palm she extended earlier to brush the Miqo’te’s cheek. Her fingers frigid to the touch yet the leather bracing them kept her warm.
Raising her chin just enough to let those playful emerald’s of her’s take in the room’s fullness. Eyes scan from side to side for a moment. Her demeanor shifting as excitement builds within only to let it out as her raised voice booms through the hall. Her quickened feet lifting off the ground as she steps forward. Meeting the Miqo’te’s firm shoulder. The Viera suddenly impressed by the woman’s stout shoulders. Wrapping one arm around the woman’s upper body as she peers down with elation filling her face. “I’d love a tour of the city! Have you been here before?”

⟼ A grin stretched across the woman’s lips as she observed the other. “Well, that means I get to spend time with you, then that’s good you wish to stay?” she teased with lips and fingers, they moving slow enough for the other to watch and learn. A hand brushed against her exposed cheek, making a deep chuckle escape. Reaching back, Aly scratched the back of her neck as another grin appeared. Glancing ahead, she motioned for Reiyah to follow along as she gave a brief nod.
⟼ Finally did a gruff voice come out, seeing as Reiyah couldn’t look around and watch Aly’s fingers at the same time. “I have, few times.” Head bobbed up and down as Aly stuffed her fingers into the front pockets of her pants. “If don’t know the area, it can be confusing.” When actually speaking, she had a strange accent that seemed to connect to Coerthas, which made sense since she grew up in the wilds there. Body seemed lax as she walked, boots stomping against dirt and snow along the ground.
⟼ Licking chapped lips, large violet orbs took in Rei’s appearance, watching the wonderment that graced the female’s features. A small grin appeared as Aly’s ears flicked upwards in happiness. “Best place to start is ‘The Forgotten Knight’,” she stretched out, her voice straining at certain syllables, “bed and food for travelers.” She was, after all, normally just using her hands and mouthing the words. But that was something she enjoyed with certain people - Reiyah included. They made her practice her voice, something she wouldn’t do on a day to day basis.
⟼ Glancing towards the woman, she arched an eyebrow slowly. “Going to fast for you?”
