Tank Girl is a cult British comic created by Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett that debuted in Deadline magazine in 1988. Set in a post-apocalyptic Australia, it follows the rebellious Rebecca Buck as she roams the desert in a heavily armed tank, accompanied by her mutant kangaroo friend Booga. Blending punk aesthetics, sci-fi, satire, and anarchic humor, the series became one of the defining works of the British alternative comics scene.
