It took me a long time and a lot of work to get to this point but tldr, it’s a combo of feeling confident in your presence and taking the space you deserve AND the people around you sparking said confidence and making space for you. Both need to exist. If either of those are lacking then the feeling will present itself, and you simply have to do something about it. I was drowning in the sea of that feeling everywhere I went until I had enough of suffering needlessly and made my own pond. Doing so is no small task by any means but my GOD it is worth it.
