when drunk ahvir shows up in the companion’s spots to babble about how much she loves fen and nobody has the heart to tell her that yes, ahv, we know, his freckles are great, his hair is great, his dick is bomb, his heart is enormous under the snark, we get it. dorian, perhaps others, have approached fen begging him to get her to stop somehow.
he helps her train with the crossbow that dagna and sera built her after her arm was lost, at least in part because he can see that she really really needs a distraction and to feel useful and in part because — it’s not the same as his bow, but there’s similarities there, and he’s excited to share it with her.
bonus: they have at least one kid who insists on emulating mamae and doing their hair, as well as the hair of any siblings, and neither of them can refuse them anything. they go out in public looking terrible but they look terrible as a family and that’s what matters.
