I have Rhaegar, Elia, and Lyanna ships, but I don't ship any of them together with each other.🤣

I don't even understand it myself. I tried to get myself to like the ships they are meant to be in, but it all ended too boring for my brain. Maybe because I prefer chaos and fanon in my ships is why I ship those characters to other more weird pairings.

Like Cersei x Rhaegar, Cersei x Elia, Jaime x Lyanna, Ned x Elia, Rhaegar x Stannis(I also do not know how this ship happened).... I really do not understand my brain sometimes....

-Both come from dysfunctional and abusive households: Rhaegar came to the world because his birth was forced due to his grandfather Jaehaerys II forcing his children to wed. He has to watch his father go mad and his mother suffering domestic violence. Cersei is constantly mistreated by Tywin because of her gender and had to suffer her mother's death.

-Both are noted to be attractive by other characters.

-Both are obsessed with prophecies: Rhaegar is obsessed with the Prince that was Promised prophecy because it was the one that forced his birth and led to his extended family to burn to death at Summerhall. Cersei is obsessed with the valonqar prophecy because it appealed to her fears and traumas with her mother's death.

-Both are also very arrogant and think they are above consequences, either with Rhaegar believing that taking Lyanna for his prophecy baby wasn't going to be noted or Cersei having an incestual relationship with Jaime thinking no one would snoop around.

This very much!!! I want to also add how they try so hard to avoid their doomed fates in the prophecies, but they end up setting off the things that set their doom in place.

People might not like it, because they see Rhaegar as good and perfect, but he and Cersei were very similar. They both have what I think is called "delusions of grandeur". They both flew too close to the sun and ended up doing big things that endangered their children and themselves.

And both of their mothers were tormented by Aerys. Before her death, Joanna was being preyed on by Aerys just like Rhaella.

I feel like Rhaegar and Cersei are two sides of a spectrum of how someone reacts to the same circumstances they were born in. Rhaegar is quiet and somber. Cersei is loud and lashes out.

Honestly, you should feel good you have so many haters. It shows people are jealous of your talent!

Maybe because this is the first Western fandom I have gone into. But atleast I have support from you guys.😊 I will keep drawing more Rhaegar x Cersei art!!!

Of course! I'm not a ship president. Everyone can ship it if they love it.❤ And thank you for noticing how Rhaegar is still soft to Cersei even when he longs for something else.🥺

Cersei is more rougher than Rhaegar in the relationship, but she still has love for him because of her younger self being obsessed with him. Rhaegar, I think, would still have some love, but there is something missing. But still, he is kind and soft to her. I think their marriage would be like the French song I started listening to.

I understand if RhaeLya fans defend their ships in their own ship posts if people attack them. But I do not understand why they go looking for other ships that are not RhaeLya and then get mad when the ship is not RhaeLya?😅

I just do what every other fandom does. Make weird ships that do not make sense or seem absurd. With a fandom so old, I thought the ASOIAF fandom would be more used to fandom manners. They can just block my blog and other socials if they don't like my ship, instead of sending hateful words.

Thank you so much for your kind message.🙂‍↕️ I do not understand why they use such hurtful words about women. ASOIAF talks about the mistreatment of women so much times. The books talk about how harmful women are treated and that they deserve better, yet the fandom says such words.😅

Lyanna was his prophecy, his love, his song. Cersei, elia and anyone else was a failed political option. Hope this helps.

I never said Lyanna is not Rhaegar's love. I simply ship Rhaegar x Cersei because it is fun and interesting. I do not find Rhaegar x Lyanna that interesting since I see it all the time in other romance media.

I like shipping ships with dynamics that are not that popular or present in media. I do not care if the ship is canon. If I don't find it interesting, I don't ship it. It is that simple. That is even why I ship Lyanna and Jaime. It does not make sense in canon, but I find it interesting. They are both twists of the knight in shining armor trope.🙂

I do not understand where it is in my posts that it might say that I hate RhaeLya? I do not even post about them. If you want me to draw RhaeLya, then pay me for it.😅

No need to say weird things in my asks about prophecies. I do not even care about prophecies or true love in ships. I just like pairing characters that would often not be shipped by others.😄

Cersei being jealous of Elia because of Rhaegar, but she realizes she is actually jealous of Rhaegar for being able to marry Elia because he is a man would be so fun to see. Elia is too kind and cute for Cersei to handle, and even when she's mean to Elia, Elia is still kind to her.

Tommen would die just like how Aegon (if Young Griff is Blackfyre) died. Cersei will have to watch Tommen die like Elia watching Aegon die.
