I stopped writing about my eggies for the longest time. :( My poor darlings have been culled down to just the two mixes, everyone else going on pause. With the exception of Goldie Dino; I set the clock wrong out of habit so that I could spend some time with him (while I was at the bar, no less) and it turns out he doesn’t have a pause feature.
Or at least, if he has a pause feature, I haven’t been able to figure it out.
So basically he was awake while I was asleep and I was awake while he was sleeping. Poor Dino woke up sick every night, and I tried to keep him going for as long as I could. Unfortunately, I found him as an angel a couple of nights ago and put the tab back in him.
Because the M!x! This is such a really great Tama. My only gripe is that I wish the m!x could have a stable of characters you build & could switch to. I know that I’ve been planning for a creation and have been painstakingly trying to make it happen for awhile (if it wasn’t obvious), & it’d be nice if all that work paid off and I could “save” that character. But even so! Just getting this one character I’m really hoping to create has kept me incredibly occupied.
I’m also now a master of navigating to the Onsen while focusing entirely on another thing. Diamond wedding rings for everyone!
I rebooted their look too, and ended up doing an entirely different aesthetic than I’d meant to. Dream Town got a new style too! I can never find that cheetah print one and now I have my own. (Dream Town always needs to look psychedelic, though, so I’m sure I’ll change it soon.)
But yes, the mix! I’m on generation 4 on my Spacy and 2 on my Melody. I didn’t think I’d like anything about the Melody, but it grew on me. It’s a very subtle pink, very classy, so I gave it a nice zen look. I want to decorate the inside with stickers at some point, so if anyone knows some cool ones, let me know!
I got Shimagurutchi on Melody and Gozarutchi on Spacy. Shimagurutchi was part of my character plan, while Gozarutchi definitely wasn’t, so I suffered that curse for awhile. Luckily, my Gozarutchi line got tentacles a generation back (along with a dubious-looking sack), so at least that’s one thing off the checklist! I have Jane now, who is basically Jellytchi but with strange eyes that came from no one in the entire family line, who would be perfect to mix with my Melody, who I am calling Gidget, Warrior Princess. She has Shimagurutchi’s great spiral eyes and Shinobinyatchi’s ears and tail… But she got Shimagurutchi’s striped sweater. (And I wish she’d gotten her father’s adorable curly tail.) Alas, both Gidget and Jane are female, so Gidget is marrying off to a Jellytchi and Jane has to wait for her Romeo. Until then, they’re the best of friends.
This is a much more involved Tamagotchi, where you have to put time into developing relationships (especially if you want the cute letters). In my spare moments, I’m always off in town doing something, so I don’t often notice my Happy/Relationship bar until it’s full. But a lot of people are having trouble with that, it seems like.
I also keep hearing of people who can’t access the Mermaid town and it makes me so sad. If I could, I’d connect to you all. 😢
I just want to end this by saying that Tamagotchi Instagram is great right now. Everyone has such beautiful pictures! I love it.
