Lula had often been impressed with how quickly others could write. How did they make the letters come so easily? Lula had to make each one precisely, and she had to pause often to sound out words and find the right letters. Slow as she was, however, her spelling gradually improved. She’d barely written a few sentences before a knock came at the door. Have I selected the wrong room? She looked up with a frown. Who was bothering her?
Tallico had been a bit of a mess recently. Finding out through social media that her girlfriend had found someone else was definitely not great to her self-esteem or mental health. But, she was a Bloodwyne, and she was a guard. She had a job to do and a name to live up to. She had been trying her best to suck it up and get things done, and so when an older Guard came up to her and told her to do some searching for illegal items in certain rooms, she didn’t hesitate. The dragon pretty much dragged herself over to one of the rooms and knocked on the door, waiting impatiently as she looked to the floor before quickly knocking again. “The quicker you open the quicker we can get this done, alright friend?”
