The Rabbit Tales of Vale

Some of you may already know about the quiz for finding out what kind of knack you'd have, but I've added a new one for what race of leporian you'd be!

So. Bunny number system that goes by 4s and 8s as primes because rabbits have 4 fingered hands! Foxes also use 4 and 8 because of their 4 legs.

Because of this I will be avoiding 9s and 10 when numbers are referenced in Leporia. I will still write numbers normally otherwise, but if anyone is curious how the Leporian grammar for numbers work this is just a fun little thing to keep in mind.

So 1-8 is normal, but once you go above 8 you need to preface it with a 0. So 9 becomes zero-one, and to say 12 you count from 8 to get to 12 which is 4, and it would sound like zero-one-to-four

In writing, every increment of 8 adds a new notch on a vertical bar, while the secondary number is smaller and tucked to the inner right of the 'Nothing Stick'. When you get to what would be their version of the 100s, they preface with an egg and put the increments inside the egg to tell how many "100s" there are, followed by the nothing stick and its singular number.

Not using the Leporian math here but the number equivalent to 325 would grammatically be said like "3 eggs to zero-two to five"

The Rabbit Tales of Vale: Timeskipper

This is an upcoming series of short story comics about the residents of Vale, a planet occupied by magical anthro rabbits in the land of Leporia, rodents in the land of Rodentia, Foxes in the realm of Vulpecula, and perhaps even more yet to be explored.

The main focus will be Leporian rabbits with an occasional tale from another species. Rabbits all have base magic spells and a unique magical ability known as a knack which can be just about anything, whether it's useful or not.

These short stories will be no more than 10 pages long each, and will explore both characters and world building. Some of them will have extended NSFW pages that will become available on a patreon account, which those chapters will be considered "Tales of Vale X".

To give a preview of what this series is going to look like, here are the first two pages of the first chapter about Timeskipper.

I don't currently have a schedule for this series, and am just working on it when I have the time and motivation for now.

This Timeskipper chapter is already scripted out and just needs the rest to be sketched out before I finish more pages.
