Inari had always figured she would have kits one day, sheâd lowkey always wanted to and Rikuto had implied as much to his children. His children had loved playing with their fatherâs Ninetales and some had expressed wanting their own one day. Rikuto thought that if he did breed his Ninetales not only would she be happy to have her own family, but he would also teach his kids about responsibility. Looking after a pokemonâs egg is a heavy task that Rikuto tried his best to do, despite how tense it had been he found it rewarding by the end; Inari believes that his children wouldâve been just as caring and careful.
However their mother took off with them before such a chance had been really entertained, and after that Inari tried not to think about it. At the time sheâd had to console her master more than worry about such a thing, but she did find herself somewhat disappointed that sheâd been denied such a chance.
It is still something she desires from time to time, but sheâs also not expecting it. She doesnât really have the nerve to ask if itâs something Merlin would want someday, but maybe one day sheâll bring it up. For now it just stays in the back of her mind.
