i also want to highlight how black skin is really pretty, especially when it's mega saturated with lighting. I feel not many people outside of people like me draw this so it's a pleasure to make this piece of art

recently, been feeling bad about being black too. the isolation and ignorance I receive in spaces that are supposed to protect me hurts so much. so I try to make art representing myself as boldly as possible.

another thing: I feel extremely isolated from most spaces especially queer and furry ones. I feel like I have to compromise my identity for one or another and it tears me apart. it breaks me. so I make art that celebrates my blackness explicitly even if I struggle myself.

also another meaning for this art: as a black person especially, I won't let anyone tell me to my face that we need to handle things "peacefully" we got our rights in the first place by physically fighting for it. I hope every other minority understands.

I wanna let you know I hesitated to criticize white libs but honestly this is my rent lowering gunshots for cowards.

before anyone else has a clearly ignorant opinion, the reason this quote is said is because libs have a history of not only being complicit in the oppression of minorities, but the reason Malcolm x said they are worse is not because he's hypocritical but because they lore minorities in with promises only to fail us miserably and prop themselves up more. it's a false promise. to be a better ally you stay committed to the voices.
