As worried as he was he knew that if there was something seriously wrong she’d come and tell him. They were pretty open with each other especially after Evan had his little breakdown weeks ago. They had nothing to hide from each other so that thought calmed him down a little. So, he sat there as patiently as he could trying not to stress himself out.

There was a sigh of relief released from him once he heard the door to the bathroom open. Almost instantly, he got to his feet as she got closer, taking a good look at her to make sure that she was okay. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary but that still didn’t convince him entirely. When she spoke, his eyes glanced down to the test in her hand. His heart started hammering against his chest harder than it ever had. His eyes flitted between the test and her, trying to process what she was saying. “Are you….?” He trailed off momentarily not even trying to hide the smile that was making itself ever so present on his face. “You’re pregnant?!” His voice was soft, disbelief in his tone but the happiness radiating from him was obvious. “For real?”

There is a pause between them, a softened smile soon finding it’s way across Taissa’s features. The surprise of the situation was delayed and attempting to sink in, leaving the blonde to keep her eyes trained on the test. There was no denying the truth of the matter, no possible false results, it was simple. “Yeah. I am.” Taissa states, her own disbelief raising her tone as her eyes now gaze towards her husband. “I thought.. maybe I was just — I don’t know. Sick.”

The fact I can manage a coffee shop on an island?! It really is paradise! This place is so nice, and it’s perfect for when I’m done with Monday Night Raw. If you come to Coffee Oasis, you won’t regret it. Also, if you see my pig roam around the streets, leave him  be, he’s a good little piggy.

Whenever you want to start making those calls, let me know and we’ll start putting things into motion. I guess we should set on a date first, though, huh? Jen is probably the best person to take dress shopping. She’ll be nothing but brutally honest which I think is needed a lot of the times during dress shopping. Not that I’m an expert but I’ve seen Say Yes To The Dress and some of the women on there are… questionable and scary. You’d tell me if you weren’t fine, though, right? You know I’ll worry about you. So, it’s a morning thing? Weird. Sounds like a plan to me, babe. We both know sooner or later I’ll end up getting myself in trouble somehow. You’ll catch me one day getting told off by Ryan or something. Right? Weird to think this is exactly how we met ten years ago and now we’re right back at that place as a married couple. I’m so here for a ghost apocalypse. That’s my end goal now.

Between Jen, Vera and our mom’s we’re really going to be spoiled with all the help we’ll get. I know my mom keeps bugging me asking if we’ve started planning anything yet. I’m really excited for it, though! We got all the nerves out of the way at our little private wedding and now we get to have fun at our big wedding. You still feeling sick? If it doesn’t pass we might have to give the doctor a visit so they can give you something to help. At least we’re working together so I can keep an eye on you and make sure you’re doing okay. Perfect plan! Maybe we’ll even get a Chucky doll to be her date. They’d make a cute couple. Oh, totally. He and I would be the worst influences on each other. Maybe it’s safer for the world if he and I never meet.

My two youngest kids are at that age now where they’re really getting into Marvel. So, I’ve had to sit with them and watch all the movies while getting bombarded with questions which is all fine and dandy. I’d like to consider myself a Marvel expert. I mean, I am the one that kicked the whole universe off but anyway… I’ve never asked because I’ve always assumed their favourite would be Iron Man but I took the plunge and finally did. Guess what they said? Captain America and Thor. I’ve never felt so betrayed in my life. If anyone wants two kids, you can take them. But, in all seriousness, it’s been like a walk down memory lane watching these things. Anyone got a favourite Marvel movie? Don’t worry, I’ll only be a little bitter if you don’t say one of the Iron Man movies. @hchqstarters​

Please no fainting. I crack under pressure, T. I would expect nothing less from you two. Is Elvis going to make an appearance though? I feel like he’s earned after the Vegas wedding. It really is. I mean it would be horrible if he got into any kind of accident so we might as well do all we can to keep him safe, right? I’m surprised he and I made it back home, to be honest. I figured one of us would end up dead or in jail.

I’m taking that as a compliment. Thanks, babe. I’ll be sure to tell everyone you think I’m a genius. Okay, good! We both definitely need Jen to help us on the big day. We know I’ll be a lost cause without someone keeping me in line. How about we head out this weekend? I got some time and I want to spend it with my favourite girl. Feeling queasy? Take it easy, please. I don’t need you getting sick. Probably some stomach bug or something. Would we have to keep her in the box? I want to let her out to cause chaos. It’s happening. I don’t know how but I’ll make it happen. I need to make Shane my best friend. That dude gets me.

God, I love you. You’re going to be my ride or die for life and I’m so fucking here for it. I hope Evan lives to regret the day we became friends. That’s going to be one hot wedding then. I mean between you as the bride and me bringing the heat as the bride-groomsmen it was already pretty hot. But add in Soph and James and all those other losers? Fire. You know, I support the idea of the bubble wrap and the helmet. I think he could really benefit from that outfit. And bonus for you not having to worry about him anymore.

to infinity and beyond / evan & taissa.

“Stuck with you for life, huh?” He paused for a moment pretending to be in deep thought; all the while a cheeky grin plastered on his face. “I guess I’ll be okay with that.” It was moments like this where it was the two of them laughing and joking with each other with nobody else around that he enjoyed the most. He couldn’t even put into words how happy it made him that he’d have that every single day for the rest of his life. Nobody could make him smile as much as she could.

Evan let her go get changed making sure she was out of the room before he dug his hand into the pockets of his shorts to make sure the ring box was still there. Thankfully, it was. He was about to pull it out of his pocket just to make sure when he heard her coming back. Quickly, and hopefully not so suspiciously, he pulled his hand out of his pocket, running it through his hair instead. His eyes focused on their hands landing on their rings. Every time he saw her ring or his own he was pretty sure his heart skipped a beat. He really had married her. If only he could go back in time and tell past Evan what was waiting for him. “You look beautiful,” he said sincerely, leaning down to press a soft kiss to her lips. “Full moon? Oh shit. That means the werewolves will be out in full force tonight.” Evan led the way out of their room barely taking them any time at all to get out of the hotel altogether. The beach wasn’t too far from the hotel so he’d decided a nice walk there would be the perfect start to the evening. “Okay, I’m offering you one piggyback ride. You can either have it now or on the way back. Choose wisely.”

Taissa’s own mind was clouded with thoughts of what he possibly could have planned— she was still fairly new to this romantic side of Evan and completely indulging in this newfound state that they were in. It seems almost ages ago that she had found herself fuelled with envy over the man’s relationships, desiring so badly to experience it. Now, she had taken his last name and it all seemed to be developing so quickly. An acceptance that her soulmate would be nothing more than a friend a now peacefully distant memory.
