The edifice of the terrors that await you -- daunting, entirely built up in your mind. There is nothing here. You are nothing. A hole in time, and space. A hole in them, and all they left behind.

So you know you must go back.

It is with love given to you, kindness donated, that you have realized this. It isn’t meant  for you. You, humble Heir, are for them. A piece of their soul, rejected and estranged. Everything they hate, everything they could have been.

A tool. The perfect blue blood.

It isn’t to late, you don’t think.

The terror says there is a chance you may stay. The Lord says he can help you reach the void.

So you do. You try, and it tears you apart. 

Inside. But only because it hasn’t happened yet.
