Honestly, I don’t think Tim & Eric get enough credit for how inoffensive they actually are? Gross-out humor aside, their humor never sets out to shock *and* offend groups. My friend pointed out in Zone Theory that they had about a dozen easy opportunities to be transphobic, but they never were, and the one time I remember them using the word rape in an out-of-context manner was in a sketch where the whole point was you wanted them to stop because their insults towards each other were just rapidly escalating. Like literally the worst thing they do is make people (themselves especially) look awkward.
