A slightly grittier, slightly darker, slightly more politics rewrite of canon with aged-up characters. Events happen more slowly than in canon, starting with it taking a full year to get from Aang's awakening from the iceberg to their arrival in the North. If you like end notes detailing extensive historical, literary, or scientific deep-diving for the sake of throwaway asides this is 100% the series for you.
