Hugs! Somebody on twitter asked for which of my ocs give the best hugs, and it made me inspired to draw some quality hugs

*Spins wheel again* Let’s see who i’ll pick this time! Why not Zirill? It’s quite some stuff to unpack about this angel fella. Whom first made their appearance on this blog after complaining about designs on a text post and someone replying i should show the design anyways. On March 14th, 2015, they were shown, nameless and not part of any universe or world.

Zirill was made during the time i was into my Kid Icarus phase, and was originally made as a fan character. And the original intent with them was to make a angel who was a jerk, but that looked nice. Zirill’s first personality before revamping them completely before making them a oc instead of a fan character was quite.. problematic. Let’s just say they wooed humans for fun because they mistook em for being female only to laugh when they realize their mistake, and so on. It was bad. So old me decided to make them edgy and grumpy instead to erase the garbage, which present me approves of.

Mordy and Zirill were actually the whole reason as to why i made Iedunnoh into a thing, by thinking of the two interacting with each other i found the idea of making a world where the two could exists in quite interesting. Thus the universe of Iedunnoh was born. Zirill became the main representative of the angels and Mordy the naive child who has to learn all about the world. They also became a figure of admiration for Mordy, who became more courageous after their first encounter. Zirill however had an existential crisis from this child who flipped their plans upside down by just saying some shit and they haven’t quite recovered since. Poor Zirill, nobody’s going to justify your need to murder people.
