Sad that it seems a large chunk of my old MMD videos were lost with Zippcast but I have no regrets about that situation and the role I played in Zippcast's shutdown (which to be clear was not my fault, the abject malignant narcissist of an owner could have owned up or even tried to form a defense against Maklarr's legally immune (in the form of an unsubtle allegory) accusations but decided to run away instead while making a cry for undeserved sympathy ("60,000 of my personal money" is not even a real metric as there is no currency specified), proving what a narcissist said owner was), even if it was garbage for archival.

so theres this fuckin website called vidlii and its basically bootleg youtube https://www.vidlii.com but _holy shit the drama_ (i only rly know about it because i tried out zippcast which ended up dying, then i moved to vidbit which also died - i was ‘cats6′ on both and essentially made shitposts) the best way to describe the community is "goanimate kids + people who make early 2000′s ytps + the occasional person trying to get away from youtube” and a small handful of shitposters

A subscriber of mine on ZippCast sent me this silly thing after it buffered at a random frame in my High School Musical review.

     Zippcast will die Sunday.  This really saddens me.  It was my favorite site and alternative to youtube.  I always had a soft spot for Zippcast.  Sorry to see them go.
