This post goes along with the one with the fic and is pretty much the second part of telling zipit-kitten that I'm her Secret Stana. Surprise!!
So, the fic was kinda hard for me at first because how do you write something for someone that you don't know? But then I started thinking, here I was asking her all these questions about herself, but what does she know about me? So, I threw a bunch of things about myself into this fic and have made a handy list for reference. But READ THE FIC FIRST, eh?Â
-âDid you just Han Solo me?â is something that my companion and I say A LOT. Actually, just about all of the dialog surrounding that line is reminiscent of us.
-Going to the movies alone. I got a handful of free passes that could only be used on movies that had been out a few weeks and I was having a hard time getting people to come see things with me. I worked right next a movie theatre at the time so sometimes Iâd just pop over for a film after work. I LOVED IT. It really is good people watching. And you can just watch whatever strikes you, no need for decision making. Sometimes, it did suck that there was no one to talk to after (Seriously, has anyone seen Swimming Pool? IâVE NEVER FOUND ANYONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT) but mostly, it was a fun couple of months.
-VIP seats at the movie theatre. LOVE THEM. Donât have to worry about getting there early to get a good spot, bigger seats, usually just 2 in a row so itâs a little more private(I make comments during movies, sue me. I whisper them), a server that brings you what you want. Itâs just awesome. And theyâre really not that much more. Which is how I can explain that the Ryans were there, too. Speaking ofâŠ
-I FINALLY SNUCK KEVIN AND JENNY RYAN INTO A FIC! I love them. LOVE THEM. Sometimes, Ryan surpasses Castle in my favorite characters list. Not all the time, but the frequency is increasing. I keep thinking that I should just write fic about them but I feel like we donât know enough about their home life and it feels invasive to model them after things that the Deverâs tweet, soâŠI havenât.
-LES MIS. I love that show and I think that the movie looks OUTSTANDING. I hate that itâs coming out on Christmas day because Iâll be with my family all day and am not willing to give that up. (Favorite song is probably âA Little Fall of Rainâ EVEN THOUGH IT BREAKS MY HEART.)
-The song that I quote at the end is âNight Before Christmasâ from the Amy Grant album âHome for Christmasâ which is HANDS DOWN my most favorite Christmas album EVER.
