A 24" cymbal at 2846 grams and an "old school" cymbal holder bass drum mount... Does it work?.... Yes! Surprisingly with the updated eyebolt with the grip cuts and using a lock on the arm at the mount, it holds pretty well. I will say though that the lock needs to be made slightly wider about 3-5mm or so. I did have a scare when I went to grab and mute the cymbal and just barely pulled it shifting the weight on the head slightly and the arm fell a few mm to the other side of the lock. . . .
