Ayy it's that time of year again so I'm doing another inktober, using the @oc-growth-and-development list of prompts, starting with 'Beginnings'! I enjoyed drawing babby Bufo the other week so I figured I'd draw all the mains in various child ages :3
Not super keen on the last two, particularly Mathias as its not really how he would have looked when he was a kid in canon and its very early 2000s emo (which tbh isn't that far off the actual time period), but I had fun drawing his hair so at least there's that xD
(These were all drawn together on the same page but they all looked a bit unfocussed so I photographed them all seperately.)

Bufo being a god at Guitar Hero is one of the oldest pieces of canon in my comic. You know, gotta get the important world building aspects down before I can add the more trivial aspects, like backstories and personalities...
I am rubbish at guitar hero once you introduce the orange key, thats just too much to think about (can you see why I didn't keep up learning actual guitar now... hhhh)
Thought I’d start the new year off with my annual character redraw (one at a time this time because they take ages), this time featuring digital art! I don’t have any art I can guarantee is from 2010 for a ten year comparison, but I’ve included the first ever completed drawing of Zed I ever did! They’ve uh... changed somewhat in six years...! Here’s last year’s set of redraws. (I’ve been doing my annual redraws for longer than this so maybe once THOSE reach ten years I’ll post comparisons hehe)
My comic is finally picking up steam again and I’m hoping to get something printed to sell in my town’s local comicon in June, and I like the idea of having some extra little things to sell, so this series of character redraws may become stickers!

Inktober day 2, using the @oc-growth-and-development list of prompts, today is 'Dance' 83
I surprisingly had very little time to get this done today... Couldn't decide whether to draw a character dancing well or badly so I drew both (hopefully my art skill can actually show which of these two is the good dancer soxnskdk).
Arrow's dancing skill is below 'dad' and she knows and begrudgingly accepts this.

This is a bit shorter than I would have liked but I didn’t have the energy to draw what I wanted for the question after this bc I’ve caught my billionth cold this year and had zero sleep last night, but I actually kind of like this one just as it is XD
Zed just writes about anything that crosses his mind really, often the lyrics are very creative and unique simply because he tries to write things he’s never heard before. Bufo either writes extremely sad or extremely soppy lyrics with no apparent in between and he is perfectly happy to keep them to himself, thank you very much.
