It wasn’t like this was expected, because she really didn’t find herself wanting to come to the market. However, the lights, decorations, and well crowd is what made her gravitate to everything. Plus what was she to do? stay in her apartment all day? aside from going to work. Taking another sip of her coffee, she could see that he spotted her as well. It really could be like a picture perfect moment right now, the snow falling, and she wasn’t paying attention to the people passing by.
Vivian was still debating on if she planned on interacting with him after what had happened before. Half of her wishing to forget, the other half of her wanting to know what exactly he knew of her. Of who she used to be, so she made her way towards him, not at all bothered by the cold. Her winter jacket was warm, her hood was pushed back, so the snowflakes landed on her. “Didn’t think I’d see you here.” @xrosebloomx
Keep your distance. That was what the voice in Zeki’s head was telling him, that conscience of caution warning him not to further disrupt her life more than he already had. Or seemed to have had. It was hard, though, especially when something in his heart was tugging at him, as if yearning to be close to her. A foolish desire, perhaps, but one that was true nonetheless. But right then, as he studied her from afar, he couldn’t read her. From the other night, he had assumed she wanted nothing to do with him.
So, whenever Vivian was the one to start closing the gap, Zeki was taken aback. But his heart warmed at the action, even if it wasn’t any other sign than Vivian about to tell him to back the hell off. He began to move as well, as if to meet her halfway. He offered her a small smile, nodding at her words. “I... didn’t expect to see you either,” he murmured honestly, slipping his hands into his coat pockets as they stood there under the light falling of snow. “... How are you?” Zeki asked carefully.
