(slight warning, I'm rusty when it comes to writing so this is probably all over the place)

One could say that it was because Cale now had some real free time for himself and his kids (primarily catching up on his sleep after dealing with the many of the annoying hunters out there), his brain started thinking bizarre things, again.

Of course, Cale, himself, would say it was justified to say this, he didn't particularly understand why everyone present at the breakfast stared at him as if he had grown a second head.

Maybe it was the fact that he had possibly zoned out, offered a seat to Choi Han- his elder, mind you, before sitting down himself. He didn't particularly think about it, just said and done it.

The other pointedly ignored the confused looks he'd gotten from his friends and family, now sitting down. He pretended to be more interested in Hong that had been taking a nap in his lap. (All while doing this, waiting for his elder to start- the younger always start after the oldest begans eating.)

"Eat." Cale said loudly enough for the others to hear but not to disturb the sleeping child.

Choi Han clearly had a thought to share because he did begun opening his mouth to call the other, which Cale didn't catch as he was still petting the cute reddish kitten, but didn't go through with it. The swordmaster simply sat down on the pulled out chair, and murmured a quiet "Thank you for the food...".

Cale was simply acting accordingly, not that the other would know. But what *he* does knows is that if Jung Soo found out about how he acted towards his uncle-once-removed, he'd definitely get a talk and that ironic look he always got during their time in the apocalypse- whenever they got around to talking about the other's family lineage. Sure, it was more so the other talking about it, while Rok Soo and Team Leader listened.

That guy always went around saying that respect in his family wasn't inert and easy going, as it was in other modern families. Sure, in Korea family respect is important, but the Choi family had some deeper meaning with it, coming from a modern family that still have had practiced the art of sword even until this age. (*Even if that was before the Apocalypse*.)

Anyhow.

It came to Cale while he was skimming through a book that had been laying around on the bookshelf, one of the many books that had been placed in the Rock mansion who knows how many years ago.

"It'd be somewhere around the time when I first built it" the Rock's voice murmured at the back of his head, which Cale faintly payed attention nowadays.

It's not that the redhead was ignoring his achient powers, simply paying attention to anything else.

Right. The book was about some old poetry, talking about how elders are wise and... That's where stopped reading. Wasn't particularly interesting to being with but it was the tick that got him thinking.

More specifically that Choi Han, his elder almost three times his age, even with looking not unlike a teenager... Cale hadn't been treating him with much respect from the beginning, has he?
