!! I’m gonna-- do some thumbnails to try and churn out some comics for it-- but Angela doesn’t know that her technology was actually utilized on Genji, so he’s the first successful cyborginization of a human- but completely unknown due to Illegal Reasons.
She gets a lot of flack from the media for her research despite it (as far as she knew) not being put into practice. “It’s possible but we don’t want to try until we have a willing subject” sort of stuff. She doesn’t see why people should die in anyway besides peacefully due to old age (and even then she thinks that could be extended).
There’s actually a lot of conflict between her and Genji when this comes out bc due to his state of being- he’d very much like to have died when he did thanks.
