Andrew almost felt as if he was going to explode with happiness. He had Rowen in her sling on his front, the little baby snoozing away happily. Ruby had a better temperament with others but Ro was his girl through and through. Ivy rode on his back as they walked to the beach and the man loved hearing her little giggles. He set her down with a soft grunt on the beach, afraid Rowen would wake. She simply snuggled deeper into him and he hiked her up a little bit higher. βCan I have ice cream?β Ivy asked, softly pulling on the manβs pant leg. He smiled as she eagerly accepted the bill from him. βThank you, daddy!β She said, skipping to the ice cream truck. She had never called him that and he felt himself getting emotional. βWe may need to see if me or Ro is going to cry first,β he told Claire with a soft chuckle.

With the weather cooling down, but still hot enough to break a sweat, we're going to have a sports tournament to round out the summer! There will be four different sports to choose from to play (or you can play in all the events if you want to) β kickball, wiffleball, ultimate frisbee and flag football. Every celebrity will be playing for a charity of their choice, and the winning team will be given $5k each for said charity. You can play for a national charity or a business in town β it's completely up to you! This will be an all day event with a catered dinner at the end of the evening. Come out a play or support your neighbors as town cheerleaders!
This event requires sign ups. Please sign up for which sport(s) you would like to play by sending a message to the main no later than September 8th at 6 PM EST. If you would like to participate in all the events, let us know! Everyone will be put on teams with a random generator, and the winning team will be chosen with a coin flip to keep it fair. Participation in this event will remove a strike from your record. A full schedule of the day, the teams, and more details about the after tournament dinner will be posted day of.
Spritz Fish House has been kind enough to let our residents rent out the entire bayside restaurant for a high-end seafood boil and social at the end of our welcome week.
DATE/TIME: Saturday, June 3 from 4 PM - 11 PM
Serving an Γ la carte, abbreviated menu of their best selling food and drink, Spritz will also be putting together a typical East Coast seafood boil that will be buffet style. Feast on the catch of the day or a bowl of famed New England clam chowder if you want, but you can't miss out on the fresh Maine lobster which is the star of the show. Not much of a seafood fan? Don't worry β our vegetarian, vegan and otherwise shellfish averse residents have plenty of options to choose from. The night will end with a stunning fireworks show over the harbor.
Please note that this event is SEMI-FORMAL, meaning you should come dressed in your best. Any social media posts should be tagged as #zbboil. We can't wait to see the outfits your celebs have chosen for the occasion!

Join us for a week long celebration of the grand opening of Zephyr Bay! With summer so close we can taste it, now is the perfect time for everyone to have fun in the sun, build up that base tan, and enjoy the mild costal weather of the Northeast shore. There will be activities going on each day, so if you miss out on some of the shenanigans, don't worry! We have plenty of things to keep you busy (and a reason to keep procrastinating unpacking...).

ITINERARY:
Saturday β all day food trucks and drink vendors to satisfy your stomach with a bonfire starting after dusk; if you're the outdoorsy type, pitch your tent on the shore and sleepover!
Sunday β morning "hangover cleanse" yoga and a day filled with your favorite beach games, like bocce ball, volleyball, frisbee and more!
Monday β go horseback riding along the shoreline or take a boat trip out on the harbor to fish or simply enjoy the ocean with a drink in hand
Tuesday β Starlight Boardwalk is offering half price admission all day Tuesday, with a special summer fireworks show at the end of the evening
Wednesday β the planetarium staff will be set up on the beach with their telescopes for an educational evening filled with stargazing over the open ocean
Thursday β a few locals have agreed to give surfing lessons, and there will be jet skis and private boats for rent for tubing and other water sports
Friday β end the week with a low key, relaxed beach picnic; stop by anytime to grab your complimentary meal and socialize with your new neighbors, then grab a drink and party it up for the rest of the night with live music and entertainment!

Between special events happening exclusively during the beach bonanza, it's a great time to explore the harbor and beach and all it has to offer! Below is a list of locations and general activities that can be enjoyed during the week outside of the events specific to our welcome week extravaganza!
Need some grub? Or maybe your sweet tooth is kicking in? We have a few recommendations! If you're more of a bruncher, The Hen's Nest has a great selection of brunch favorites, including bottomless mimosas! Honey Do has a wide variety of pastries, cookies, cakes, and other tasty treats to sate that sugar craving. Spritz Fish House provides one of the most upscale dining experiences in town, with seating on the harbor β perfect for a romantic first date to impress!
There is plenty of shopping around the harbor, but we have some fan favorites we know our residents are sure to enjoy. Scratched offers used and new vinyls for that record player you still haven't set up in your living room. For the plant parents of town, Terracotta Pot has everything you need to start your summer garden and prepare for harvest season in the fall. Last but certainly not least is Zephyr Bay's Farmer's Market, where you can peruse rows upon rows of farm fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, honey, and homemade goodies like jams and pickles!
If you're looking to blow off some steam or find a sports team to join, Runner's High Intramural Sports Complex boasts multiple sports fields including the highly sought after pickle ball! If you're more of an indie music aficionado, check out Revolution Street, where local bands play every night. We saved the best for last β Starlight Boardwalk could keep you (and your kids, if you have them) busy for days. Play all your favorite fair games, take a ride on the tilt-a-whirl or any of the other amusement park rides, and stop by one of the many food stalls and trucks for fried dough, roasted turkey legs, and other fair food faves!
