Summary:
Dib Membrane is just trying to get through hi skool. Could he be a model student if he tried? Probably. It's just that with the amount of free time being a model student would leave him, he would have no time to investigate the paranormal. So, he musters up enough motivation to get average grades part time, and he spends the rest of his time pursuing his dreams. He doesn't bother with after school clubs or activities.
That is, until he makes an agreement without thinking, and his best friend introduces him to the Literature Club.
Or, a Doki Doki Literature Club fusion au in which Dib bamboozles himself into joining the club for "scientific reasons".
