Leif actually had a crush on Zasp since discovering their nature. A strong loyal and trustworthy wasp who even though they were rivals wouldn’t betray their largest secret?

Zasp only started having feelings after the events of the game. I image seeing Leif manage to help fight a god was very very cool to him.

Leif naturally seeks warmth out. They hug their team a decent amount and generally keep themselves as warm as possible.

Zasp runs extremely hot because of they are a massive purpose built killing machine who has an extremely fast metabolism.

Zasp likes brushing out Leif’s fuzz even though Leif doesn’t really care for it, it’s therapeutic to them.

Leif’s family is slightly uncomfortable with him at first but does open up eventually. He does try and give them space even still.

Leif is actually very squishy and light due to, being half dead. Whenever they are found out zasp just starts carrying Leif around.

Zasp is also, being the only person who both knows of his nature and basic medical skills, Leif’s kinda doctor.

Zasp is the only one to have actually held Leif as in, the cordyceps.

Mothiva absolutely takes advantage of this but how I am not sure say how in the comments or sm.

Zasp also keeps getting Leif fuzz stuck in his jaws, they don’t bite it’s just that their mandibles are the perfect shape for getting fuzz stuck in them.

Leif is the assertive in the relationship.

Vi goes from shocked to pissed to scheming in the same day. The queens are also all shocked.
