Did you know that some ancestors can be detrimental to your victims? When you're using a spirit from a graveyard, you're using someone's ancestor. Why should you use a stranger's ancestor when you can use your own? These practices are still used today in Haitian Vodou & Palo for example. Believe it or not, their traits do cross over with them and these attributes are implemented in magic. Here's how : 1. A disabled ancestor  can be proficient at debilitating an enemy. 2. Deceased relatives who died of a illness can ensure the victim has the same fate. 3. A kin who had  a flair for criminal activities can turn a foe into one . Have you ever thought about it? This is the main reason why we pray for our ancestors' elevation. But nonetheless these energies are still used. I know that I will get a lot of backlash for this post, but it's worth discussing. A note to tell you about a warning. I am not promoting this type of behavior. Such sinister practices are utilized in extreme cases. In short, some ancestors can cause illness, deformities, and alter behaviors.
