i only decided on Gynattel being their kid like three months ago but almost immediately i realized she’s the perfect ending to their story, even if it is a bit typical - married with a kid is such an overused ending but in the case of Zamatte so many of her problems and self-hatred are rooted in her belief that she ruined her children’s lives (reincarnation is a big thing within the story’s world, where you are reborn into your own family line) and so much of her self-identity is dependent on her being a mother, which she’s been disconnected from for almost 600 years.
