7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?

It's not his fault, and I don't hate him, but there is something intimately disturbing about the eagerness which white fans present to throw Kyrat and it's people under the bus in defense of a man who refers to them as monkeys. Pagan Min is an excellent character - he is not a hero, or a hapless child, or the well meaning father figure of a culture of backwards brown people Too Dumb For Their Own Good. It's racist and freaky.

On that note: I wish it was easier to talk about the white supremacist influences behind the Seeds, and Far Cry 5 as a whole. I promise I'm not attacking dear blorbo, Sharon, social darwinism and psuedo-paganism just have a really messed up history, k?

Ten minutes tick by, ten long minutes since Lola had spotted the pale figure dressed in all black and deduced from the monster energy can clutched in a shaky hand with messy nail polish that this chick was her kind of person. Whether Lola was her type of person was an entirely other story but that had never stopped her before.

What was stopping her right now was the look etched into her tired face, eyes squinted and exaggerated by her dark eye makeup, almost making it seem like they were closed. Her mouth was pursed like she was wincing and she had that slight shake that told Lola she was probably running off of the can in her hands and nothing else. A grind she could not only relate too but respect and admire.

But she also knew the headache that came with that kind of grind and more than a few times she'd been told her chosen volume didn't particularly help ease those. But she was full of giddy energy, the kind a golden retrieve would probably be filled with at the sight of another dog. If she didn't bound over and introduce herself soon she was going to explode.

Because standing off to the side and oozing extrovert energy was really not having the gravitational effect she wished for.
