Food, glorious food
Today we explore the wonderful world of Orastim foods. You might say this is just a 'taste' of Noffian and Zakri food stuffs. Like everything else, this can also be expanded on in future posts, that is, when I have the time to write them. Jujjonm (Noffian origin)- a type of juicy fruit that has a blue exterior skin and yellow interior. Grown exclusively in southern Noffian territories, it is a delicacy to travellers and locals alike. Often accompanies desert dishes, though can be served alone. Nodjfudd (Noffian origin)- a decadent chocolate fudge praline with small chocolate chips nestled inside. It is encased in a layer of pristine and sweet pastry, topped off with a drizzle of oozing, smooth chocolate sauce and a dabble of thick cream. The ultimate Noffian desert heaven. Tafhae stew (Zakri origin)- a simple stew of red meats stewed with available vegetables and served with a large portion of bread to soak up the large amount of succulent and flavourful liquid. A common diner dish in the Zakri kingdoms due to its ease to make. Tiff (a common soft vegetable in the Zakri kingdoms) is often included in reasonable quantities. Sometimes seasoned, though not essential. Daetloe (Zakri origin)- semi-liquid spread, often served with muffins and bread derivatives. Voudoko (Zakri origin)- dough pieces soaked in daetloe and topped with a topping of your choice. Toppings used vary depending on availability and where you are. Used for those occasions between meals when you're still somewhat hungry- a brunch or liner dish. I'm testing out a new polls feature as well, so if you've got the time I'd appreciate your help in determining whether this feature works properly or not. If you have expanded feedback, feel free to leave this by clicking on the feedback icon on the bottom task bar (always pleasantly welcomed). [five-star-rating] [poll id="2"]
