ok so nokko's little caked up mini mushrooms are adorable but i'm also kind of like. noticing a repetitive design problem in that in a lot of games i am seeing The Fat One has Their Thing have something to do with Eating or is the Comical One or only Becomes Cool if they slim down.
Rune Factory/Harvest moon had the gourmet (food competition judge) and the sant-coquille family. In rune factory 4 the character is literally named PORColine (pork :/) and is notorious for eating the dishes he cooks before customers can. some S-Q family members aren't food oriented but never taken seriously.
Isekai: Slow Life has a chubby girl who's obsessed with street food. But she's just got a little stomach pudge and that's it. She's 'fat' like that genshin cow girl is "fat" (eyeroll)

and as much as i love fat+buff characters... how about some who aren't strong? who are just normal people? maybe one or two? just a couple? :c i hate feeling like i'm begging for crumbs but even the crumbs right now are full of poison
