5. Falling Asleep
He hadnāt been sleeping well. Not at all, really, and the lack of a good nightās sleep was beginning to take itās toll on him. Mikio did his best to stay awake and alert throughout the day, but by the time it was mid-afternoon he could barely keep his eyes opened. He tried some things, coffee, energy drinks, splashing water on his faceā¦ Nothing worked. The surgeon begun to wonder if he might be able to take a napā¦ Just a short nap to regain some energy, than heād be okay. He just needed somewhere to sleep.
Mikio yawned as he stepped through the rather empty school halls, his eyelids heavy. He just needed to stop somewhere and rest, he didnāt care where. And it was because he didnāt care that he ended up sliding down to rest against one of the walls in the hall. No one was around, if he were to just shut his eyes for a few minutes; just a few minutes, heād be okay, right? After convincing himself that no one would probably walk by or pay any attention, Mikio allowed his eyes to finally close.

ā¾ Sleeping headcanon
Ikeda: He always needs to be clinging to something while he sleeps, usually hugging his pillow. if heās sleeping with somebody though, he wonāt be able to fall asleep unless heās holding onto them all night long.Ā
Marina: She rolls around in her sleep a lot, mostly due to troublesome dreams. Also a very light sleeper who mumbles and talks a lot in her sleep. Generally she just isnāt a very still and calm sleeper, unless sheās really exhausted.
ā Drunken headcanon
Ikeda: As could be assumed, heās a clingy drunk. Not only that, but his confidence seems to get boosted really high and heāll become very flirty. Butā¦ Also sleepy. You could expect him to slide over to you and start being real flirty and stuff and then just randomly falling asleep at your side.
Marina: When she really gets drunk, sheās an angry drunk. All self control and resistance would be gone and sheāll lash out at people trying to start a fight. Pretty scary actually.

Itās a really nice feeling when you come across someone else that you know instantly that you can probably trust, andā¦ Maybe something more can come out of it.
