The first thing he notices are his lips.

They're pink.  And small.  Sort of like the rest of him.  His name tag says "Ventus", and his knowledge of Latin from that semester tells him that means "wind".  It fits, because on his head is blond, swept hair that frames his angular jaw and cheeks to the best of its ability.

His eyes, blue and wide, make contact with his for a few seconds as their manager gives him a green apron.  Studying them proves to be useless; he's closed off, albeit seemingly open and communicative.  He knows the feeling.  He tops off a frap with whip and gives it to the customer he's serving.

And he walks over, begins to set up the register because it's getting a bit crowded.  It always does around nine in the morning, when most classes take place.  With a quick glance, he nods and greets the new kid.
