When the child looks at the library with its countless crosses cut off by the site, he thinks that the building is actually the above-grade part of a large maze like structure sprawling over the whole city underground. The subway must also be a part of the huge network, and the vertical book stacks lead all the way to the fairy land of dragons and beasts that he encountered in those books.
Audience 2: A technician working in the library labs who leads a highly routine life. Life could be dry when it is so introverted and routinized. The library is such an isolated island for the technician, and only the labs (purple), the office (green), the cafe (red), and the stairs and elevator (yellow) exist in his world.
