Another night of their journey together. With a somewhat annoyed sigh, the knight unclasped her cloak as she kept first watch. To think, a knight, a wizard prince, and a scholar taking on a journey like this...
Chara was still trying to sort out her feelings on either of them, in all honesty. She gave a grunt of slight annoyance as said prince sat down next to her. “A lovely night, it would seem. For once the stars are right, and not corrupted by the darkness.”
There was a begrudging agreement on that at least. She was still annoyed that because of him they got kicked out of the local in and had to sleep on the outskirts of town though. Even it that WAS partially her fault.
One of the few ‘freetowns’ as they were called. Places not ruled by the kingdoms of humans or monsters. As such they tended to welcome both, making them rare places this rag tag band could usually stay without fuss.
“You’re an idiot, ‘hyperdeath’.” She replied hotly, speaking his supposed name with thick sarcasm. Was it a boss monster thing to be horrible at picking names? He only gave a slightly fanged smirk. “That makes two of us, ‘knight’.”
They both silently agreed that the third among them, sleeping in the tent, was not an idiot however. Young though they might be, they were brilliant in depth of knowledge and diplomacy.

Some were of little notice, just those simply passing by on their way to somewhere else or those who were meant to be lingering there caught, unwittingly in the ruckus she caused. Who would be able to ignore the sound of the voice raised above the usual din in the marketplace? Honestly. Who would want to was the better question.
Some were far more notable in.... ahem quality.... over.... eherm quantity. Namely the er, city guard. That was problematic. One of those necessary evils to crest and all that. She had little choice in the matter.

The minute her back was turned to the audience, her face drew grave.
“All right, you little shit.” She grumbled under her breath. They could have been words that sounded threatening by themselves, but her light tone suggested something else. “.... we’re both knee deep in it. So, I would suggest you do what I say or we’re both up the river, gone, kepoooot, you get me? Got me? Good.”
