yuta developes a crush on kohaku after the events of fruitful october (the story where he almost falls down a cliff and adonis, kaoru, and kohaku save him). he bakes kohaku some traditional japanese sweets as thanks with the help of niki (who's none the wiser) and starts to hang around crazy:b more often despite still claiming to not trust rinne.
the only people who know about his crush are hinata, shinobu, kaoru, rei, and nagisa (he only told shinobu, the others found out on their own).
kaoru and nagisa, being his roommates and friends, try to give him advice which sometimes works (kaoru) and sometimes doesn't (nagisa). kaoru also tastefully teases him about his crush, though he makes sure never to take it too far.
rei offers cryptic advice while also playing wingman, as he wants to see his "beloved child" happy.
shinobu's super supportive, though he has no clue how to help as he's completely oblivious when it comes to things like romance.
hinata's the worst, trying to play wingman all the time and not being subtle about it at all. yuta's surprised and grateful that kohaku hasn't found out about his crush despite all of hinata attempts to get them together (including but not limited to: shoving them into a locker together, inviting crazy:b to have dinner with 2wink, complimenting kohaku and saying it was from yuta, etc).
little does anyone know, kohaku's been developing his own little crush in the meantime. but that's a story for a different night >:3
