 Despite  choosing  to  tell  the  truth  most  of  the  time ,  Toma  can  lie  very  credibly .  He  is  used  to  dealing  with  all  kinds  of  people  due  to  his  outgoing  behavior ,  and  has  come  to  know  exactly  what  people  want  or  need  to  hear  to  get  the  reaction  he  wants  out  of  them  or  to  make  them  think  something  is  the  truth  when  it  in  fact ,  isn’t.  He  knows  this  all  too  well  and  is  planning  on  using  it  to  his  advantage  once  he’ll  get  a  job  (  he  wants  to  be  a  lawyer  so  this  skill  will  most  certainly  prove  to  be  useful  ) ,  but  should  the  situation  call  for  it ,  he’s  not  above  using  lies  to  make  said  situation  more  favorable  for  him  or  someone  else  he  deems  needs  and   /   or  deserves  it .  

 Examples  of  this  can  be  found  in  Diamond  World ,  where  he  lies  to  the  Heroine  about  various  facts  in  order  to  get  her  to  trust  him  so  he  could  protect  her ,  as  well  as  in  Heart  World  where  he  was  able  to  keep  everyone  unaware  that  he  is  the  culprit  who  had  smashed  the  Heroine’s  head  on  the  boulder  despite  the  evidence  against  him ,  as  well  as  the  fact  that  he  was  the  one  who  pushed  Sawa  off  the  stairs  and  was  one  of  the  two  to  have  found  her  first .
