I am in love with Warhammer lore.

After reading Helsreach in three days, I had to translate some scenes into my style. In this one, I took some artist freedom to translate the scene when Reclusiarch Grimaldus goes to Stormhelrald in such a poor state that is in its kneels, after Princeps Zahra went rampage to avenge Draconian and later falling into a trap. The Black Templars cleanse the aliens from inside and the Reclusiarch reaches to Zahra, demanding her to walk, even when others said it was impossible since she lost her will to the Titan.

“She still breathes”. He know she’s there, somewhere, and she will walk.

Into the deeps of the abyss of her mind - or whatever you call such state - she hears Grimaldus and manage to awake once again. “Until the end.”, they promised, as a similar oath between Black Templars. If only one stood, Helsreach wouldn’t fall. This novel is my entry into this franchise after a one of a hell commission that I made for a friend. Aaron’s words fill each page with passion and detail, with a fluid narrative that explains everything that is happening and don’t leave any question behind. It’s an excellent book for starters who want to try the taste of real war. Really, this book is about real war. Forget about drama, lame romance, poorly written heroes with blank reasons just for the sake of being good and role models. Helsreach is unforgettable, full of surprises to a point you simply don’t know how its going to end. The only downside is that it ends, but its story I shall never forget.
