what spiked this thought? well, the old ass ugly fucker trying to get the poor girls phone number for the past 10 minutes at the bar. at first, he pretended to not pay attention, shit like that always happened and dudes usually took the hint or the girl was bold enough to call a security guard. however, this one was trying very hard to keep to herself and enjoy her drink and jaehyun was more than aware the guy was not going to let her be. he really didn’t like seeing stuff like this in moonwalkers happen.

so he does what he always does, he makes his way to them and slams his hand overly dramatic on the counter, catching both of their attention “sup.” he says, smiling at the girl before looking at the dude, raising a brow at him “not to be even more dramatic than i already was, security is looking your way right now.” he pauses, straightening enough to tower over the girl “i don’t like ugly bastards like you harassing my girl, so beat it.” there isn’t a reaction from the other guy, and jaehyun can’t help but tilt his head to the side and maybe it was enough for the stranger to back off, getting lost in the crowd of the bar. he sighs and turns towards the girl, smiling apologetically.

If there was one thing that being a physician for the past three years has taught him, it was that people get injured in the most ridiculous ways humanly possible. You’d really have to be a special kind of stupid. Some part of him wonders if he’s able to nominate a few of his patients for a Darwin award, and whether he would be breaking medical ethics codes by doing such. He furrows his brows in consideration as he finishes up with his emergency patients. Well, it’d be amusing, to say the least. There aren’t any strict doctor-patient privileges like lawyers have, so it’d be justified to have their dumb decisions end up on the most esteemed of conglomerates. He absentmindedly smiles every time he passes a patient to get to the nurse’s station since he’s on auto-pilot at this point. Why did I take the graveyard shift, again?
