Well mainly if the person is having fun with it I think! I mean of course I always gawk at some of the amazing, high quality costumes I see and prefer them aesthetically, but I am extremely happy just to see people enjoying their cosplay no matter what!

In short, twin deserves all the awards for making sure that my own cosplay doesn't look like shit while working on her own stuff.  all the awards and love for twinling!

The girl genius radio play was awesome and hilarious, and I actually got to help out.  For the record, I am TERRIBLE at doing sound effects, but it was fun all the same.  Phil and Kaja are amazing people, and I was very happy I got to meet them.

So, I made the skirt, and twin made the jacket.  This is a progress shot, as I do not have on the bustle/shirt/wig needed for the cosplay.  We made a few modifications to the jacket, mainly because when we pinned on the purple stripes as seen in the reference, we did not like the way it looked on me.  So we settled for purple trip on the hems instead. Twin says I look like a drunk easter egg.  I agree with this.  I also love the whole outfit very, very much, and cannot wait to wear it at Katsucon.

I’m sure going to try!  Its not finished yet, I have to finish the vest, but yes, it is my goal this weekend!  I would love to meet up with you at some point during the weekend.  Its always fun to meet other fans!
