19. Forceful kiss

Lucifer was really quite skilled at annoying the fuck out of Nick. He did it on purpose. He was sure if it was a career to annoy Nick, Lucifer would be employee of the month every month. The vessel had developed a constant headache.

And he wasn’t sure if he appreciated that or not.

For you see, this headache only happened when Lucifer was around. It was like a, fuck here comes Lucifer, sense. He didn’t even have to see him to know he was there and it was terrible. He’d gotten so in tune with the angel all over again. And yet it was a totally different tune than before.

Before Lucifer could even talk Nick interrupted him. “I don’t care what witty one liner you are about to use on me, don’t do it. I swear on my fucking life if you don’t keep your trap shut for about five seconds.” It was an open threat.

Obviously Lucifer sassed him. As if the devil was going to listen to his vessel. The guy probably thought it was supposed to be the other way around.

Nick did shut him up. With a hard kiss on the mouth. Yeah, he stooped that low. If the angel had been a human being, this kiss probably would have been a bit painful. But he wasn’t a human being, he was the devil. It probably didn’t hurt that badly if at all.

Then he pulled away. He didn’t even apologize.
