In light of the YouTube Partner Program changes...
Hey guys. If you hadn’t already heard, YouTube is changing its eligibility requirements for the YouTube Partner Program. Any YouTube user with less than 1000 subscribers and 4000 watched minutes over the past 12 months will lose their eligibility to monetize their videos.
As with most (all?) of YouTube’s policy changes, the reaction amongst its community is divided. I’m not here to give my stance, however, I’m here to ask a favour.
I have the 4000 watched minutes and then some (thank you!!), but I am currently sitting just shy of 1000 subscribers at 978. Therefore, I received an email from YouTube this morning informing me that I will no longer be eligible to be part of the YPP if these requirements are not met by February 20th.
I only need 22 subscribers to keep monetization active on my channel. Could I ask you to please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel so I may keep my YPP eligibility please?
I admit that I haven’t made much use of my channel for some years now. But if you guys would be so kind as to do me this favour, I promise to produce video content worth your time to show my gratitude.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this message! Hope you’re doing well, guys. <3
