He mumbled, laying there until he felt he had enough strength to get up and head upstairs. "Makoto?" He called, not too loud since it was a small home they lived in. "Makoto I got something for us!" Nitori called, and then opened the door to their shared bedroom. "-!" He dropped the keys in his hand and then stepped back, almost leaning against the door frame. "M..Makoto..?" He called, his voice breaking as he tried to hold back tears.
