Day 17: Cosplay Speciality Not sure if this counts but I'm really really really good at guesstimating the amount of fabric I need for a cosplay when buying it in person. I just look really hard at the references and then at the bolt of fabric and bam I know how much I need. Jk it's just by chance since I don't use patterns and never remember how much I use for past stuff but normally if I am buying fabric in person I can get it so I have less than half a yard left of scrap. For example my Yuri on Ice Eros (see picture) had maybe a piece of fabric the size of my hand leftover. But this only extends to in person. When fabric shopping online I tend to buy at least a yard.5 extra (un)intentionally because if I'm buying it online I don't know how it feels or stretched and such so I don't want to take chances.
