At 13 years old, Jennifer Capriati played her first professional tennis match twenty five years ago today. She finished as the runner-up at Boca Raton, losing to Gabriela Sabatini and making her the youngest player in history to reach a final. Despite legal troubles during and after her playing career, Capriati was formerly a top-ranked player while winning 14 titles, including three Grand Slams. He broke numerous records.
He has came on leaps and bounds since Augusta, but proved he is an amazing player.
In a town near where i live he played in when he was 15 he won the competition and they now have(always had) the newspaper article on the cork board.
