You know what I absolutely refuse to believe anything other than the fact that Angus MacGyver was, in fact, kicked off the Boy Scouts. I have no doubts. Like this kid is super smart, but he's not book smart. He didn't learn everything by reading it. Some he learned because his dad told him to figure out a solution using his brain (it's still INCREDIBLY messed up to think about), which means he learned at an early age to improvise instead of plan ahead. And this boy definitely did that with the Boy Scouts.
Mac was one hundred percent like Percy Jackson, especially if he's ADHD. I'm not kidding. Mac was definitely good at surviving in the outdoors, but he definitely had situations.
Something like adding something to the bonfire and making it explode, or playing around and accidentally losing someone's supplies by sending them flying because of his DIY catapult or maybe scaring the guides by wandering off all the time.
Let's remember, before we peg Mac as a good kid and a Boy Scout that he was the idiot who destroyed his football field by causing a "small nuclear meltdown", who incinerated someone's Moped, who made lightning. Indoors. This guy is so not a goody two shoes and I don't know where y'all got that from. This child was an absolute menace when he was young.
