Hi this is a fic for @bearsketches @jhaskii and @minichen123 for being amazing friends and i hope they have a great valentines day! We may not talk a lot(unless interlunium is involved @ jax and mini) but god yall are amazing (and freakin good artists holy shit) but yeah!! They introduced me to the god send that is youharikanan so yeah!

“Fuck.”

“Don’t swear.”

“F…..uck.”

Riko glared at Yoshiko. The younger girl was making chocolates but had accidentally cut her finger. You and Kanan were standing nearby by watching the whole scene go down.

“You should listen to Riko before she beats you up,” You said.

“Yeah. She’s actually pretty strong,” Kanan added.

“How?! She’s a literal stick!”

“Not as much as you,” Riko muttered.

“I heard that.”

The duo continued making chocolate while You and Kanan were off doing their own thing. Eventually, Yoshiko and Riko heard yelling coming from the dining table.

“Thats bullshit! Three fucking plus four cards?!” Kanan yelled.

“Get fucked!”

“Bullshit!”

Yoshiko watched in amazement as Riko suplexed both girls. The two calmed down before sitting on the couch to watch television.

Moments later, You came into the kitchen and leaned against the counter. She stuck her finger into the chocolate whenever Riko wasn’t looking. The bowl that was filled with chocolate soon was two thirds of its original size.

“How in the heck did you eat that much,” Riko asked You.

You shrugged and walked away. Riko sighed before continuing. During the entire time, Riko had to slap Yoshiko’s hand to prevent her from adding hot sauce to the chocolate.

“Finally… after what felt like eighteen years… the chocolate is finally done…”

Riko slumped down onto the couch. You and Kanan threw a blanket onto her before Yoshiko laid across all three of them. They sat in silence before Riko spoke up.

“Today was the strangest Valentine’s day I’ve ever seen.”

“Yep,” You said without hesitation.

The three looked at Riko. “Happy Valentine’s day, Riko!”

There was a sound of clinks as Riko placed a cup onto the table.

“How did we end up in this relationship again?”

“We’re all gay as shit here,” Yoshiko responded.

Riko remembers the whole confession as if it were yesterday. Even though it was over four years ago, it still makes her heart race.

“I honestly don’t disagree with her,” Kanan said.

The four of them were at the pool after school. Kanan and You were at practice while Yoshiko and Riko watched. Of course, the two sitting on the benches couldn’t help but gawk at the two swim club members. It had slipped out of Yoshiko’s mouth when she had just whispered a single phrase. Of course, Riko had heard it.

“Didn’t I say something like ‘oh god all of you are hot.’”

“No, more like ‘oh my god Riko is so fucking pretty and what the fuck why is Kanan and You hot?’” Riko said.

“Really?”

“I wouldn’t say Riko is wrong,” You laughed.

Riko had just stared at Yoshiko. Yoshiko eventually noticed and realized the auburn haired girl had heard exactly what she said. On that day, Riko had told Yoshiko that she too loved her and the two swim club members.

“At that time all we needed to do was to ask you losers,” Yoshiko muttered.

“The hell? Us? Losers? Excuse me we were on the swim team. You guys were in music,” You said, a fake hurt tone in her voice.

“Plus, we would’ve accepted right away. We both would talk about you guys a lot and wow now that I’m thinking about what I said, it was really gay,” Kanan chuckled.

After practice, Riko and Yoshiko had pulled the two aside and just said a simple line.

“Oh my god, what you guys said though!” You yelled.

“‘We’re so gay for you both’,” Kanan laughed, clutching at her stomach.

Riko took a seat next to You,”S-Shut up!”

As Kanan had said earlier, the two swim team members accepted in a heartbeat. This led to their relationship. They were happy and that was all that mattered.

Yoshiko laid herself down onto the three girls’ laps,”Y’know, I’m glad we did that. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be that happy.”

Their confession led to the four of them living together. It might have seemed strange for the landlord to see four girls living in a two room apartment but it didn’t matter. They only ended up using one room for sleep. The other was used for keeping all of their books and desks.
