One of the things that surprised me when I moved to Uchiura was… This. That in high school, swimming classes are an everyday thing. This is a seaside town, after all, so I understand that being able to swim is an important skill, and now that summer has come and I’m meeting this dazzling sun, I’ve also come to understand how everyone feels like they want to go swimming… but still. Swimming is something I’ve always been, um… just a little… kind of… bad at… Ehehe♪ I was bad at even putting my face in the water that after I graduated middle school and swimming classes became optional, I remember thinking, Yay! I never thought I’d run into it again here. but still, here, like this… There’s You-chan, who’s incredibly good at swimming, and diver Kanan-chan, and they teach me so kindly, so even this Riko wants to do her best to try to get better at swimming!
