okay, so of course I feel they both would have some pretty quick, surface-level attraction to each other based solely on goro's good looks and charming demeanor, and yosuke's affinity for leadership and the way he dotes on those he cares about♡

but I also feel like a really good dynamic is goro and yosuke discovering the dark, murky parts of each other too. like goro seeing yosuke get pushed to brink protecting someone, and letting out his bloodthirsty side when ppl dear to him are threatened (like that time yosuke straight up almost killed a guy for nanako)

and goro is just looking at yosuke's unrestrained rage like doki doki♡

but like

i also can't stop thinking about the two of them really getting off on the wrong foot bc hello?? yosuke literally can't go two seconds without shoving his foot in mouth. and goro has emotional walls up to the moon and back

so like imagine; ; goro spending more time with yosuke (ie during the events of pq2), and noticing how smart yosuke really is. how surprisingly capable and reliable this doofy seeming guy is. (yosuke as the self proclaimed "chief of operations" for the investigation team)

also pls think about goro spending time with yosuke and teddie and noticing how it immediately comes off as yosuke constantly reprimanding teddie and seeming so annoyed with him. but in actuality, yosuke is always giving in and doting on teddie; ;♡ always indulging him with cute new clothes, delicious treats, and the occasional, put-upon piggyback ride

goro picking up on how sweet yosuke is to teddie and how much he obviously loves him and pampers him, even when he acts like an irritated older brother, exasperated by his kid brother's antics

so basically, over time, goro starts noticing how smart, brave, and caring yosuke is and somehow, slowly, falling in love with this dorky, embarrassing guy
