honestly to this day there are few things in life that make me happier than beating my brother at video games. like when we were growing up he was more interested in games than i was and i didn't really start playing till i was maybe 8 or 9?? idk i played ocarina of time it was great. anyway he had a headstart on me experience-wise so playing smash bros or mario party with him was basically just me resigning myself to defeat bc he'd literally always win

but now we're on even playing ground and i can actually play ssb on the random character selector and still beat him and i just want to go back in time to little 10 year old me and be like ''just you wait. your day will come'
