Yoosung Week - Starlight Rewrite
[Prompt:Starry Night]
[Approx. word count: 2.6k]
[Y O O S M U T]
[A/N: Iâm not sold on this title, but it is late and Iâm T I R E D. Iâll see if I hate by time itâs ready for ao3]
The last time heâd experienced such quiet atop a forested mountainside, he had been too occupied to look at the stars properly as the adrenaline kept him on alert for danger. Tonight would be different; he knew thatâhe was trying hard to convince himself of the fact, butâŚ
The pain he had endured that night had done a bit more than scar his eye, and though there had been no signs of danger for years, Yoosung couldnât help the prickly feelings that ran along his spine and seeped into his skin as though he were laying on a slab of ice instead of the thick blanket pad spread out beneath them.
His tension was evident despite his best efforts, and Yoosung knew his cover was blown when she turned around in his arms to peer into his eyes.
âHoneyâŚis there something wrong or did you recall a horror movie that looked like this?â
He chuckled shakily at her attempt at levity, squeezing his companion a little tighter and closing his eyes.
âThereâs nothing wrongâŚIâll be ok, I just need to get a hold of myself.â
Cool fingers slid along his jaw until his face rested between her palms; Yoosung peeked open slowly, already feeling more vulnerable in her hands. He knew there would be little he could deny her once he met her gaze, but to his surprise he felt the gentle press of her warm lips against his left brow.
âThat night whenâŚ?â
âYeahâŚbut Iâm ok. I know I am,â he breathed out slowly, willing his body to understand; it was dark and quiet, but there were no strange buildings, monitors or other people aroundâno one lurking in the silence, deciding which injury would best destroy his future or screens full of codes, any of which could possibly set off a detonation from a remoteâ
She was on his lips in an instant, taking Yoosungâs desperate grip as the cue to offer up a comfortable distraction; his spiraling thoughts shuddered to a grinding halt, like a record scratch in his brain as her tongue slipped beyond his lips to devour his fears. The air was chilly, but as she sandwiched him against the blanket with her deceptively strong body and wandering hands, Yoosung could only seem to focus on the steam fogging his glasses and the delicious melting sensation coiling low in his belly.
Finally parting for air, the woman peered down at him with a satisfied grin.
âThatâs much better,â she assessed, palms pressing against his thighs with a firm squeeze and Yoosung was struck with the memory of the first time he found himself under her, halfway to ruin. A breeze fluttered the mid-thigh hem of her skirt along with the ends of her hair; with a gradually deepening blush, Yoosung had to agree with herâhe was certainly feeling much better, though vulnerable in another context.
âNothing gets past you, hm?â
âNot with you holding me like weâre getting swept away by a flood,â she laughed, settling into a contemplative mood, ââŚI think about that night a lot too, but maybe not like you doâŚâ
Yoosung huffed, wincing in apology.
âIâm sure I worried you a lot that nightâIâm sorââ
âYou did, but Iâm not talking about that~â
He paused as she trailed off in a singsong lilt, confused by her lead but ever willing to follow.
ââŚThenâŚwhat are youâŚ?â
âThe phone calls.â
Yoosung sat up on his elbows, slightly apprehensive as she appeared to be restraining a smirk; her eyes glinted and he desperately combed through his memory for anything offensive.
âWe did call each other quite bit that night, but IâŚI didnât say anythingâŚweird, did I?â
Heat crept up his neck; not even a hand over her mouth hid the entirety of her cunning smile andâŚwas that pity in her eyes?
âWeird? Oh noâŚa bit naughty, perhapsââ
âWHAT!? Waitâare you teasing me? What did I say?â
ââŚYou really donât remember?  It kept me up most of the night; I had to set five extra alarms to make sure I didnât oversleep for the partyâŚâ
Yoosung sank back to the mat, mortified as he shielded his burning face with his hands. Just when he thought he couldnât be any more flustered, the killing blow was mercilessly whispered into his ear.
âSo just where were you thinking of kissing me first before you decided at the partyâŚ?â
All at once, the air left his lungs as though heâd been doused with ice water.
âOh godâŚI actually said that? Out loud? To you?? I canât believe Iââ
Without allowing him to wallow any further, she went on the offensive and slid her fingers into the scarf bound around his collar, pulling it away for easy access.
âWas itâŚhere?â
At the first tender lick of his throat, Yoosung let out a high pitched gasp that softened into pleased hums as others followed.
âThis devious womanâŚâ Â
He had to admit her method was effective; it was hard to hate yourself with a beautiful woman straddling your lap as she sucked at your pulse point. When words continued to fail him, the top three buttons of his shirt were next to go as a searing trail of teasing nibbles descended down his neck, over his left collarbone until her lips planted their next mark directly over his heartbeat.
âOh, that would have been good tooâŚahh?â
The chill was never more apparent than when she withdrew in resignation.
âItâs not working, is itâŚ? Sorry, loveâŚit was worth a try,â she sighed, smiling sadly, ââwe can head back and find some other place toâo-ohhâŚâ
Once he realized she wasnât joking, Yoosung sat up and threw his arms around her waist. He bowed his head against her abdomen in reverent gratitudeâthen promptly pressed her thighs until she sat fully on his lap and could feel just how well her methods were working. Breathing deeply in an attempt to force back his blush, Yoosung tentatively dragged his focus upward until he locked eyes with hers.
Back then, before heâd been able to see her, he had spent almost every day wondering what this kind and cheerful soul looked like when hearing her voice over the phone failed to satisfy his curiosity.
But as the week became a tumultuous storm, he began wondering every night about the woman who had quickly and fiercely snatched his heartâno doubt, an activity that partially spared his fragile mind and heart from insanity during the worst of it. Every bold flirtation and gentle word directed to him served to fill his soul even as every other part of it broke until he could begin to mend it.
So once he made those first steps out of the melancholy of his past, it was of little wonder that his thoughts fixated on the love he wished to experience with his future.
Her bright eyes blinked back at him, expectant but patiently awaiting his next move. Yoosung smiled, nuzzling her stomach until she giggled and pushed his shoulders back in self defense.
âMm, those were some good choices, but I was also consideringâŚâ his voice faded away as he swallowed, bringing her slender wrist to his lips as he kissed the inside. Drawing her chin lower, Yoosung watched the woman wiggle in contentment after pressing his lips against her forehead.
âSo innocentâŚhow cute!â she beamed, relishing the tender affection.
Yoosung almost felt bad for luring her into a false sense of securityâhands smoothing down her back and over the curve, he let his nails bite into flesh just enough to leave light indentationsâŚenough to make her body shiver with tension.
ââŚYou might not find this so cuteâŚwill you let me show you anyway?â
The moonlight was just bright enough to see her pupils flare in response. Yoosung smiled playfully, tugging her back to her knees as he bit the corner of her shirt and pulled it out of the waistband of her skirt; nudging his nose beneath the fabric, he licked his lips and inhaled her scent before firmly pressing the warmth to her stomach, just above the jut of hipbone. A tiny gasp sounded overhead and he grinned against her skin, lingering a few seconds longer until he remembered another spot that had captivated him.
Moving north, he stopped just before his nose could brush against the underside of the silky smooth bra, which ended up brushing against him anyway as the owner took a deep, shivering breath.
âYou were planning to tease from the start? Thatâs a bold way to transition from pre-boyfriend, donât you think?â
Her shaky chuckle made his ears tingle and flush pleasantly; Yoosung found himself enjoying the perspective as he returned her laughter from beneath her lycra-bundled cleavage.
âWellâŚhmâŚI might have been a little delirious from the adrenaline, but after we made it out of there, I justâŚ.my dreams couldnât be limited that nightâletâs say that instead, hehe!â
The second he closed his eyes to beam up at her, Yoosung was shoved roughly onto his back. In seemingly fluid motion, sheâd removed her panties and shoved the waistline of his pants and boxers down so that the night air contrasted sharply with the heat of his erection as it sprang free.
âYou have a lot of nerve to be so cute when Iâm like this right now!â
Yoosung couldnât help giggling at her frustration as she hissed, standing over him as the wind ruffled the skirt dangerously higher. Even as a passing cloud partially obscured the moonlight, he knew her face was aflame with embarrassment. Not even her glowering managed to stop his laughter; she turned away from him, and Yoosung was sure she was pouting.
He stopped laughing when she suddenly lowered herself and slid over his shaft, choking and hissing as she ground mercilessly while leaning on his thighs for leverage.
âHahhâhoneyyy, Iâgah! Canât see your faceâŚnnghh!â
âWeâre here to stargaze, so look up and hooâŚhmph! Enjoy them!â
Yoosung realized far too late that he had made a losing gambleâthe gentle, gradual pace that would normally have served them both during foreplay was nowhere to be found. The frantic, intense rhythm employed here was meant to wreck him and wreck him quickly: this was retaliation in the form of sweet torture.
Another bank of thin clouds drifted over the moon, sheathing them in diffused light and shadow; the stars seemed to twinkle a little brighter in response, and as Yoosung chanced a glimpse downward, he caught the reflected light in the most unexpected places. If the stardust had settled into the sheen of perspiration over their exposed skin like a fine powder, then it appeared that fragments of starlight had broken off and caught in his belovedâs hair as it wildly tossed about in the breeze as she threw her head back.
He snapped his gaze back to the heavens, biting down hard on his lip lest his punishment conclude too quickly.
It was a foolâs bet, to be sure; even if he didnât see every graceful movement in vivid detail, the melodic straining of her voice as she sought her own pleasure with his body worked him closer to dizzying completionâin addition to the flood of electric friction and heat melting his lower half, it was overkill.
As light began to prickle at the edge of his vision, Yoosungâs hands landed on her thighs. Sliding them up, he drew a low moan from her throat that quickly changed pitch until she was panting loud enough for his ears to burn; instinctively, his hands squeezed around her hips and she reared back suddenly.
âDammit! IâmâŚIâmâffuuâ!â
Yoosung watched her come apart with rapt awe, breath coming in rasps as he felt the erratic pulsation over his member, hinting at the vehement quaking within her. When she fell forward on trembling limbs, muttering curses as she tried to control her breathing he turned his focus back to the sky and counted slowly until something occurred to him.
Looking back down, he confirmed that by some miracle and an ungodly amount of pre-cum pooling in his navelâŚhe had yet to actually climax. Fumbling quickly in his coat pocket while she was distracted, he sheathed himself with a condom and wiped away the mess on his abs with a spare napkin. Slowly spreading her thighs apart, he removed himself from beneath her to adjust until he was kneeling low behind her.
Finally regaining some of her sense, the woman turned and narrowed her eyes as she spotted his blatant intentions with a begrudging smirk.
ââŚMay I?â
âFineâŚyou win this time,â she conceded, attempting to raise herself on all fours before her legs spasmed and gave out, ââŚuh. Hold on, I think I should haveâah!â
Pulling her back against his chest, he held her close and sighed happily, aligning her thighs to rest upon his.
âItâs ok! It all feels like winning with you,â he whispered, pecking her cheek; steadying her hips while she reached to spread herself open for him, ânow let me take it from here and we can both look at the stars.â
The goal wasnât to last long, just long enough to coax out the residual fluttering of her walls until her moaning was laced with contented sighs.
The goal took a quick detour when she bent over, shoulders shaking. Grabbing her wrists in alarm, Yoosung pulled back gently until he realized she was laughing openly between soft groans; straining to keep himself in check, he willed himself to speak.
âDonâtânghâtell me youâre ahh ticklish there nowâŚ?â
Reeling in the laughter to trickling giggles, she shook her head.
âMm just thinkingâI fell in love with the only manâŚnghhhhâŚhahâŚwho can be so lewd andâohh⌠so cheesy at the same timeâmmn!â
Heart catching in his throat, Yoosung knew his time was up; closing his arms around her shoulders, he pulled them both back to the mat where he lifted his hips and eagerly pounded away until white lights burst behind his clenched eyelids, sinking back to the ground and slowly pulling out with a full condom.
They lay on their backs, loosely holding hands until breathing resumed normalcy. Studying the constellations above, the blonde felt his pulse slow and fall into sync, finally understanding in his heart how there was peace to be found in the quiet shadowsâwith the right company. Energy waning, he craned his head to check on his lover until a distinctive noise reached his ears.
Something was howling in the distance.
Despite being even more spent than he was, the woman sat up tensely.
ââŚIâm going to guess that wasnât youâŚâ
Yoosung chuckled, squeezing the back of her hand.
âIts fine, the sounded like it came from anotherââ
Another howl went off, significantly closer than the one before.
âTime to go!â
Scrambling to their feet, the setup was haphazardly rolled up and thrown in the trunk. Searching around for any stray trash they might have left, Yoosung began feeling in his pocket for the car keys.
âHoney, your pantiesâŚI canâtââ
âSacrificed to the mountains, letâs go!â
The drive back home gave Yoosung plenty of time for contemplation. With the last vestiges of energy finally exhausted, his companion slept soundly in the passenger seat; noting the complete lack of restraint of her sprawling limbs, he tried not to let it go to his head butâŚhe was very pleased with himself.
Though the night ended with a bit more adventure than bargained for, Yoosung chortled under his breath.
The nightmares and terrible flashbacks would now at least have a real contender to vie for the focus of a dream set against the quiet dark.

Last day!
o/
Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to pre-order the Yoosung Zine, so if you havenât done that already, now is the time to get on that.
In other news, I hope to have the rest of the Yoosung week entries up along the next week~
Yooweek - Liquid Focus
[Prompt: Latte Art]
[Approx word count: 1.6K]
[A/N: Y O O S M U T. Also, like everything this time around, not betaâd]
Yoosung had always tried to be very conscious of his desires; constantly reminding himself not to become too greedy. The idea of taking more than his first and only lover was willing to give was reprehensible.
Having established that, he was now struggling intensely with himself, forcing all of his mental energy on creating a perfect heart in the latte he was craftingâand not on the memories of last night, nor on the fact that that the worldâs most perfect woman slept peacefully partially because of and not in spite of him.
âŚVery possibly naked, depending on whether or not she shifted the covers heâd laid over her before going to her kitchen.
âNoâNo! Yoosung Kim! You cannot obsess over this. You were fortunate enough to have that experience last night! Twice even! Be grateful and put your attention back on her!â
And he didâhis mind happily supplied him with the visage of his precious girl and every cherished expression she made for him; the tone of her voice as it soothed him through any mood or piqued his interest with her playful timbre, the funny little mannerisms he quietly logged in his mind when she thought he hadnât noticed.
A goofy smile took hold of his face. Looking down into the cup, he had managed to make a decent polishing with the espresso. Now to just get the temperature of the milk rightâŚ
Wiping down the espresso machine, he smiled and set to angling the small pitcher of milk under the steam wand, hoping to keep the loud hissing to a minimum until he submerged the tip to the proper depth.
The initial cloud of vapor wafted past his glasses and set off another non-conducive memory of how last night got startedâŚ
He really didnât think heâd said anything particularly impressiveâheâd only answered honestly when the survey people in the shopping district had asked him what requirements he kept in mind when deciding gifts for his wife. Yoosung actually thought heâd made a mistake in not correcting the questionnaire handlers first in that he was not yet married, butâŚsurely you didnât have to be married to understand that you should first make sure the gift will make her happy and not cause her harm, right? After all, why would a woman marry a man who doesnât remember anything she likes or what she could be allergic to? That was just common sense, wasnât it?
Regardless, the workers had also seemed impressed with his answers and thanked them for their time and then Yoosung had been almost dragged to her home. He was sure heâd have to practice his best apology, but once the front door had shut behind them, his jacket was being tugged off as soon as heâd removed his shoes and then he was being pushed back gently to the floorâŚ
After pleasantly drowning in the smooth softness of her lips, hands and anything else heâd felt brave enough to touch at the time, there was a break for oxygen; by then he was fairly certain his apology would be unnecessary and he simply chose to enjoy the sight of his love leaning over him as she tried to catch her breath. Â However, when her breathing simply became more ragged, Yoosung had leaned back up, brushing her hair aside in concern.
âWhatâs wrong, honey? If youâre cold, I can go fill the bathtuâ?â
Heâd been cut off as she pressed him to her lips and forcefully pulled them both to standing position, steering them toward her bedroom as carefully as possible without actually looking. By the time theyâd crossed the threshold, Yoosung felt almost drunk as his hands wandered her beautiful frame with what he considered to be reckless bravery.
It had occurred to him at some point to find his voice and determine just how far this would go, but as he glimpsed her inviting smile through his smudged glasses, Yoosung knew he would go wherever she led him. If that meant ditching his carefully selected outfit on the floor while helping her out of her own, Yoosung was more than happy to comply while protecting her exposed flesh from the chill with heated whispers and languid stroking of his hands or tongue, whichever would produce that sound aga--!
The smell of curdling milk brought him back to the present and Yoosung nearly dropped the metal pitcher of overheated liquid in the sink as he rushed to put his hand under a cooling stream of water.
Fishing for a towel to pat his wound dry, he pointedly glared at another part of his anatomy that could have used cooling down at that moment. Â Now was not the time to develop weak focus! There was no way he could graduate early if he couldnât stop fixating on what was admittedly one of the most amazing nights of his entire life butâwhat would that matter if he couldnât graduate and earn enough money to marry her?!
Starting over with the milk, he finally got enough microfoam to produce the smooth, silky texture required to create the designâheâd promised her early on that he could and would do this for her someday, and this morning was an ideal time until he figured out how else to show his gratitude. Swirling the espresso in the rounded mug, Yoosung smiled when the creamy shapes bloomed against the dark liquid and gave him the desired fullness before he drew the line to a perfect point.
Satisfied, he set the mug down on the counter and rinsed the milk pitcher before setting it in the sink for proper cleaning later. With the delicate task completed, Yoosung thought to get a decent breakfast readyâwhich meant it was time for vegetables to be chopped!
He hopped to the fridge and began placing produce in a strainer for washing, which settled him back into a comfortable routine; his body fell into the familiar auto-pilot: scrub the produce, shake the excess water and line up the cutting board with the smallest veggies first, pull down dishes to hold the stuff that gets thrown in at different times to cook and then turn and grab the knife from the drawer and make sure to close itâ!
His hip had bumped the drawer rather harshly before he remembered the mug sitting atop the counter. Dropping the knife, he leapt back toward the mug, staring intensely as if willing the design to holdâŚto his great relief, his efforts werenât wasted but he couldnât shake the feeling that the universe was taunting him.
The easiest way to pour the heart pattern was generally to draw the point away from youâwhich meant the proper perspective was shown to the recipient of the drink.
But for Yoosung, who had been the barista, the rhythmic trembling of the upside-down heart from his viewpoint only drew up an incredibly recent and revered memory of other full, creamy shapes bouncing in front of his eyes.
Leaning his head back to glare at the ceiling, Yoosung tried counting backwards from 10, 20âŚ100âŚ
It was too late.
His mind was already back in her bed, and his hands were cupping the smooth flesh; caressing, lifting and squeezing while one hand traced lower and lower, to the most daunting subject that Yoosung had never been more eager to study. Taking his cues from her breathing and the smiles gifted to him through bitten lips, he made sure his nails had no sharp corners and tentatively slid his middle finger between the swollen labia.
For the first moment, he had poured all his willpower into not getting overwhelmed by the sheer amount of slickness pooling in his palm, forcing his attention to the different structures hidden within the folds. He only withdrew at her yelp, gaze lingering on the movement of her breasts as she shudderedâbut her face told him that while she was enduring something, it didnât appear to be pain. Her grip, surprisingly strong on his shoulder as she leaned over him for support, didnât shock him as much as when her other hand released him and joined his as a guideâŚ
As determined as he had been to burn the details in to memory, Yoosung could only recall a few tactile particulars before the rest were blurred into the mesmerizing trance of the erratic rhythm of her tits  moving in time with her stuttered breathing.
Dropping his forehead to the counter, Yoosung folded an arm around his head and groaned; did he really deserve another chance at familiarizing himself with her precious body at this rate? Heâd gotten lucky just once (technically twiceâŚ) and breakfast was now becoming an ordeal!
âI thought I would be the sore oneâare you ok?â
Snapping his eyes up, she withdrew her fingers from his fluffy bed-head and hid a yawn behind her hand; smiling fondly at him from behind the counter.
âO-oh, Iâm okâsorry, did I wake you?â
She shook her head, stretching until she took note of the still warm latte with a soft grin. Taking a sip, she slowly made her way around the counter and Yoosung felt something between joy and despair as a brand new staggering weakness made itself known to him:
He thought there had been no greater beauty than her nude form in all its scarred glory.
Yoosung wasnât prepared to face that force, now accented by his own clothing. It didnât fit her in the slightest and he had never seen anything better, even when both of his eyes worked.
Draining half of the beverage, she laid it back on the counter and tugged him back up. Tasting the muted bitterness on her tongue, it would have to do as sustenance for now as the couch beckoned them like fighters to an arena.
He couldnât find it in him to care about the break from his usual morning routine.
It was just as well; theyâd meant to try the concept of brunch at some point anyway.
